Magic Lantern Photography

Winnabow, North Carolina

I am a WIlmington area portrait photographer with experience in the modeling and film industries. Though I prefer the natural lighting of outdoor photography, I can operate in studio or in your home/office. My pictures are unique as opposed to the stiff, tired studio -portraits- from the photo mills. Rates are low and there are no hidden extras or hard sales pitches. References available.

I have been shooting portraits for five years and model portfolios nearly as long. In the beginning so many people, particularly young girls asked me about modeling that I learned the business. More than inexpensive portfolio shots. I strive to see that would be models are directed toward agencies who will not rip them off. In portraiture and in modeling I try to capture something of the client's spirit and personality. Anyone can take a picture. But it takes a photographer to make a portrait.
