Sounding as a jazz quartet, Jim's one-man band performs a variety of ballads, swing & smooth jazz selections to keep your guests entertained all evening long. Jim's music is a good fit for events where background ambiance music is desired, such as dinners, cocktail hours, parties or corporate events
Originally from Akron, Ohio, Jim is a Solo Sax /One Man Band performing with studio quality, professional backing tracks using real musicians. He performs jazz and pop standards from the Great American Songbook, along with Contemporary Smooth Jazz on Tenor Sax, Wind Synthesizer and Keyboard. Playing music from the age of eight, Jim earned his Music Education degree from the University of Akron (Ohio). Upon graduation, he became a high school band director, but found that his passion was performing professionally. Jim worked with a number of bands and jazz ensembles in the NE part of the US and has opened for several headline performers.
