Known as the "father of flamenco" in the Midwest, Michael Hauser traveled to Spain in the 1960's to study the intrinsically Spanish art form, flamenco. He has toured worldwide, is a founder of the Zorongo Flamenco Dance Theater, teaches at Macalester College and is considered the foremost flamenco guitarist in the Midwest.
