Seiji’s photography, like himself, is a true blend of Eastern and Western culture --- influenced by the lush exotic beauty of Hawaii, the colorful streetscapes of urban New York, and the simple, zen-like images of modern day Japan.

Photographer Mike Seiji Mabuni was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. He began his career on the other side of the camera, working as a model in Hawaii and New York. <P>'He was a novice photographer in search of advice from a pro during a model search in 1995. Instead, the event's photographer turned his lens on Mabuni and asked if he had considered modeling...
