Our owner Char Seferian-Schrock starting planning and coordinating events in high school. She was a co-coordinator for a camp weekend for children when she was 16 and the following year planned a free soccer clinic for children in the San Fernando Valley to inspire them to get up off the couch and play outside.
She dabbled in the planning in and out of college, helping host Casino Nights and participating on her dorm student council, but it wasn't until her wedding in 2006 that she realized how much she loved to plan. She is a proficient bartender and has worked in catering for several years. She has worked both large scale events such as the Emmy's and various Galas as well as smaller events such as private parties and dinners.
In 2009 Char decided to take her expertise and start her own business. She has made many connections in the catering business and met great vendors along her travels to assist with invitations, food and entertainment to name a few. SW Events is happy to jump onboard at any stage of the planning process and make your dream event a reality.
