The Mascaro-Newman Duo has been performing and collaborating and performing concerts since 1999. In that time they have appeared in concert series both in the states and abroad as well as on college campuses and have been invited to present master classes. In the summer of 2005, the duo was invited to serve as performers and faculty members for the Boccherini Festival in Madrid, Spain. Additionally, they were awarded the 2002 Geoffrey Gilbert Performer's Scholarship.
