Scott Schaffrick is a professional photographer residing in Hurley, New York, the heart of the beautiful Hudson Valley region. He graduated from the Rhode Island School of Photography in Providence, Rhode Island with training in the fields of commercial, advertising and industrial photography. After working in the corporate world as a studio and location photographer, Scott took a 10 year hiatus from photography and then reemerged in the world of action-sports photography.
In 2002, he signed on as the U.S. staff photographer for the Daily Peloton, a professional cycling website and currently photographs the U.S. Pro-Cycling Tour. He is also engaged in producing a stock photography website specializing in action sports, in addition to his editorial work and hopes to be able to provide you with high quality photographs from his perspective. In addition to his professional training in photography, he is also a member of Sports Shooters, an association of professional sports photographers and has been accredited by the UCI, the International Cycling Union and governing body..
