About: In my younger days, a touring hard-rock musician, now
married with children and living life 'semi-retired' (i.e. still working, just not living out of a suitcase in the back of a bus anymore). In Key West 15 yrs., over 10 as the 'house' sound/light-man/DJ at a major downtown club, working with a house band, and a variety of national touring acts. Also free-lancing on the side for major national concert acts. Currently going to bed earlier (by 2 (usually)instead of 5) and doing more studio work and the occasional wedding DJ gig.
Typical Wedding DJ gig, myself as jock and MC, -standard- sound system (400watt): $400, raise it for travel or larger PA/Light requests. Small Club Solo/Band PA system, 400w, vocal mics only & w/o engineer: $100/night+$100delivery/setup/teardown. Engi
