Behind them on stage, the current 8-piece band is comprised of some of the best rhythm players in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, hailing from such nationally recognized groups as Dash Riprock and Point Blank, and is complimented by a 4 - piece horn section which boasts former members of such orchestras as Stan Kenton, Woody Herman, Glenn Miller & and even the late Beatle George Harrison!
Depending on location...anywhere from 2,500 USD to 10,000 USD, plus expenses. Appearances for just -Jake and Elwood- run from 600 USD to 1,200 USD plus expenses, depending on location.

The group was actually founded as a bar band in 1983 (with one sax player), almost 1 year to the day after John Belushi's untimely death. In the next year the group's popularity rose quickly when the boys played a Dallas festival sponsored by Adolph Coors Brewing Company, with proceeds from the event benefiting the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Subsequent shows over the years have included corporate parties, televised special events, outdoor festivals of all types and public concerts & some
having attendances of up to 175,000 persons!
