My name is Kathy Buskett. I’m a female caricaturist with 24 years of experience drawing at weddings, parties, festivals and many other events. I’m well known in my industry and established as an artist.
Im one of the fastest caricaturists in the country, clocking in at 20-30 people per hour. This keeps your guests happy and lines lower. It also ensures that all of your guests will get drawn. I can draw one person in about 2-3 minutes. That’s nearly twice as fast as most caricaturists.
My caricatures are unique in that they are “nice” and actually look like the person. I want my guests to LOVE their drawings.
To me, the guests always come first.

Whenever anyone asks what my dream job is, I always say “caricaturist.” I wanted to be a caricaturist since I was 13 years old and got drawn at Old Town in orlando. There was also that caricature I drew of that mean girl in high school art class…. But we won’t talk about that. 😉
From there I got my degree in Fine Art where I grew up in bucks county PA at BCCC in 1993.
I started drawing caricatures at Sesame Place, a Sesame Street theme park, in 1999,
where they taught me on the job.
From there I began doing private parties and eventually landed my first caricature concession at Peddlers Village in Lahaska, PA.
I also did a stint in Detroit drawing at their zoo.
In 2007 I met and married Buddy Rose, ”The Godfather of caricature,” who founded the first and only caricature trade organization, the International Association of Caricature Artists. We lived and drew caricatures in Las Vegas together until his death in 2015 from pancreatic cancer.
I am now remarried and living in Fairhope AL on the eastern shore of beautiful Mobile Bay, and drawing caricatures live and for commission work.
As of this year I’ve literally been drawing caricatures for half of my life!
