Versatility in music is important, and I certainly describe myself as such. I have experience performing with viola, guitar, and piano/keyboard in a variety of settings as a soloist and with ensembles, as well as experience arranging and transposing things like movie/video game soundtracks, and further in teaching violin/viola to beginner and intermediate level students. The knowledge gained from doing each of these things has deepened my ability and musical skill in all of the other areas.

I have played viola for about 14 years, guitar for 7, and piano/keyboard for 4, and I have been performing with each of those instruments throughout those periods in a variety of settings (solo/chamber recitals, orchestra concerts, background music at events both as a and within ensemble, in festivals, in weddings, etc.) I have I am also one year from graduation with a viola performance degree from the University of Minnesota (Twin Cities) School of Music, meaning I am classically trained. I have learned from some of the best in my field, and I also have begun teaching younger, and beginner to intermediate violin and viola players. Additionally, since beginning piano, I have gained experience in arranging music, like movie and video game soundtracks for piano, string quartet, and others..
