Cozy Corley and the Soulful Blue Gardenia Band got his start in Hattiesburg, Mississippi at the Magnolia Inn Club, High Hat Club, Knight of Columbus, Ramada Inn, and many more night clubs from Louisiana, Alabama to Florida. His unique soulful style made him one of Malaco Records first recording artist. He is managed and booked by Tommy Couch, Mitch Maalou and 'Wolf' Stevenson owners of Malaco Records...

Cozy & The Soulful Blue Gardenia Band toured throughout the south, fronting and playing back up for such greats as: Jackie Wilson, Irma Thomas, Little Willie John, Rufus Thomas, Mittie Collier, Jimmy Reed, Big Joe Turner, Percy Sledge and many other great entertainers. Their innovative approach to a wide variety of music made them a favorite among the Mississippi college circuit (from 'Ole Miss', 'Louisiana State' to 'Southern Mississippi'. You'll agree that he is a great entertainer and a unique Blues & R& B singer of Yesterday and today.

Cozy Corley plays the Blues, Reggae, Oldies but Goodies, Pop and R&B. Later he extended their tour to California here he performed at many of the top clubs in the Los Angeles and San Francisco area such as: The California Club, Tiki's Club, Haunted House, P.J.'s Night Club, Montebello Club and many more.

He was known as the Mississippi Blues Man.
