Derek Evan is a singer, recording artist, DJ and MC, specializing in doo-wop music and golden oldies from the 50's & 60's! Providing entertainment services at all types of events throughout the eastern United States. Derek is the former lead singer of -THE GOLDTONES-, a popular doo-wop group from NJ. The group was best known for their 2004 recording of -I Believe'- which featured Derek's lead vocals. The recording was a hit on many doo-wop radio programs around the USA. Derek's typical entertainment package includes full DJ services, as well as Derek's LIVE performances. Derek sings LIVE with pre-recorded background tracks. In addition, his music library includes a huge selection of -original hits- from the 50's and 60's, as well as a very extensive collection of music from the 70's through today. Today's hottest hits can be included as well, if requested by the event planner. Derek's charisma, song choices, and years of experience as an entertainer, always gets people of all ages out onto the dance floor! Derek can now also be booked to perform with a FULL LIVE BAND!
