Calligraphy by Dave is located in Novi, Michigan. David D. Kohl is the owner, operator and calligrapher. Although Dave has spent the majority of his career as a successful trial lawyer, he has had art flowing through his veins ever since he was a young child drawing cartoons for classmates in grade school. Although Dave was no stranger to calligraphy, his calligraphy business actually got started on somewhat of a fluke when he addressed the envelopes and name cards for his eldest daughter's wedding. When the compliments and requests wouldn't stop flowing in,
